\nNothing beats experiential learning! <\/p>\n
Truly it has been a blessed week for our Kerussians! They were able to enjoy a fun-filled week of learning through activities and presentations. We thank God for the fruit of our student’s hard work to make this school year\u2019s Academic Week an unforgettable learning experience. <\/p>\n
This week we celebrated United Nations Day with the theme: \u201cEND RACISM. BUILD PEACE\u201d where the Nursery, Junior Kindergarten, and Kindergarten show off their national costumes along with the Grades 1 and 2 presentations of cultural dances. <\/p>\n
On our second day, we celebrated Filipino Day with the theme: \u201cFILIPINO AT MGA KATUTUBONG WIKA: KASANGKAPAN SA PAGTUKLAS AT PAGLIKHA.” We witnessed the Grade 3 students present their tribal attires, Grade 4 participated in the Story Telling, while the Grade 7 students presented their Speech Choir. <\/p>\n
The following day we watched the Character Portrayal of our students from the Grade 5 and 6 level as they relive the lives of iconic Filipino artists and retell their life stories and share their remarkable works for our English and Arts Day celebration with the theme: \u201cRELIVING THE PAST AND EMBRACING THE FUTURE THROUGH PHILIPPINE LITERATURE.\u201d <\/p>\n
On the fourth day, the Kerussians then got to test their mathematics knowledge and skills by playing the life-sized snakes and ladders with a twist that was prepared by the Grades 8, 9, and 10 students and fellow KCA Teachers for the celebration of Mathematics Day with the theme: \u201cMATHEMATICS IS FOR EVERYONE.\u201d <\/p>\n
And for the final day of our Academic Week, we celebrated XSEED Day and Culminating Activity with the theme: \u201cSTRENGTHENING EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING: SHAPING 21st CENTURY LEARNERS\u201d where the Kerussians from Grades 3 to 8 present their well-made XSEED outputs. <\/p>\n
Lastly, an awarding was held to show our deepest gratitude for the efforts made by our dear Kerussians. They surely never fail to amaze us with their young minds’ capability as proven by their outstanding outputs and performances. <\/p>\n
We would like to thank our Kerussians for all their efforts, their parents and guardians for their support, and their teachers for their guidance. May we remember that all of these wouldn\u2019t be possible if it weren\u2019t for our Father in Heaven watching and guiding our steps toward success. <\/p>\n
