“The true work of art is but a shadow of the divine perfection.”
Those were the words of Michael Angelo, an Italian sculptor, painter, architect and poet of the High Renaissance which was given to life in this year’s KCA’s Literary and Arts Soirée.
As we celebrated English and Arts Day, different literary characters from across the globe were portrayed by selected students from Grade 4 – 6 level. We were also able to teach the students the importance of reading as we had an exchange book where they received books from their classmates. We were all reminded of how reading and arts could be fun.
