“A field well-rested gives a bountiful crop.”

Indeed, rest is one of the elements that keeps us going and helps us become more productive afterward. Even the Lord, during the creation, rested after days of work. Thus, emphasizing the importance of rest.

In relation to this, KCA implemented a new program that upholds the value of rest, emulating God’s example, entitled, “Project Thrive.”

Last week, we announced the scheduled health breaks in between classes to kickstart the Wellness Program, and now, to continue the activities under the aforementioned program, we would like to inform you that there will be no Asynchronous Class on Monday, October 26, 2020, to make way for the students’ academic breather.

During their wellness, students, along with their family, may enjoy doing Arts and Crafts. Kindly see the video below for your reference. You may also do other activities not mentioned above. Please take photos of the family doing the activities as they will be shared during the students’ Synchronous class. We also encourage you to post your photos in the comment section below.

Let us all be reminded that amidst the busyness of life, may our hearts find rest in the presence of the Almighty, for He is always willing to welcome us with open arms whenever we feel overwhelmed and restless. He clearly stated in Matthew 11:28, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

As a response to that invitation from the Lord, may we run to Him during these trying times. Rest if we must, but we’ll rise again, fully-recharged from the peace brought by God.

Praise be to the Lord!
